I started practicing a few years ago when allah guided me and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. However, this was not built upon any knowledge and was only built upon heart softeners, lectures and so on. What this meant was that my knowledge was all over the place with a few benefits i got here from here and there but no solid foundation. But ‏الحمد لله i found out about some of the ustadhs online such as ustadh abu taymiyyah,etc  And a lot of the ustadhs who i learnt about was through the “in the maktaba playlist”. As i began watching the videos of these ustadhs my favourites became ustadh yasin and ustadh muhammad huzaifa due to their soft nature and their way of teaching. Due to this by the permission of allah i decided to start seeking knowledge with them. I joined ustadh yasins “Kitab al Tawheed” course which is still ongoing which is one of my highlights of the week and something i look extremely forward to. I also began going through the lessons of ustadh muhammad huzaifa such as his madina book lessons as well as his introduction to hadith which absolutely increased my love for hadith so much. The amount of books, scholars, things i learnt about was so amazing.

One book that i personally benefitted from the most was the kitab “Khulasatu Tadhim al Ilm”which really outlibes the methodology of seeking knowledge for the student. The regret that most people have when studying this book is that if only they had studied it before as it really teaches u correct manhajiya in talab al ilm.

This is my miskeen journey of seeking knowledge with a few benefits. Anyone which i said which was wrong is from me and shaytaan and allah and his messenger are far from it.
